Picking wheels for restomods is a minefield. They rarely look right with a lot of dish and the narrow wheels relative to today make it hard to not have a lot of dish without spacers. I have made the choice twice and went with a era-correct repro center and a mild dish, a compromise for performance but it is needed for aesthetics. You also have to make a choice on wheel diameter/aspect ratio of the tire. The farther you go above 15" and below 50s on a 60/70s era car the odder it looks. Keeping a small diameter wheel then limits you on brake rotor size. IMO restomods are hard to get "right" and most of it revolves around the wheels and tires.
