He won't be suffering in the least. He will leave this world in a state of euphoria. That's what nitrogen asphyxiation does. Lots of industrial accidents resulting in death from mishandling nitrogen. They never see it coming.
Why do so many of you make such ignorant statements? Two minutes on Google would show you this is the most peaceful execution method imaginable.

Lethal injection is supposed to be peaceful, too. That’s the point.
