It’s not a new charge, trial or conviction so I don’t think that would apply here.

Though the date was set, they didn't get to try as they could not find a vein (which I think is absolutely ludicrous).

He may have been poked a few times with a needle, but so fricking what? I had an incompetent nurse jab me four times two weeks ago before she finally got the needle in.

People act like these killers should never feel the slightest inconvenience.

Cruel and unusual punishment should be reserved for the intentional infliction of harm and great pain (torture). Hell, I think sitting on death row for dozens of years is torture. DP needs to be administered quickly.
