I would stop living if my son died. I refuse to even imagine going through that.

My father was in radiology sales for a large company from the 90s to a few years ago. Frequented hospitals as part of the job. Rarely saw him upset. Except when his dad died and when he'd come home from going to children's cancer hospitals.

While my father was being treated at M.D. Anderson, we inadvertently got off on the wrong floor. Stepping off the elevator, we were confronted with the sight of a large waiting room full of children. Well over 50 kids of all ages. And we were told that there were 2 other floors for children with cancer. One of the most sickening sights I have ever seen.
