After the sports illustrated stuff the other day I was just thinking about how much I miss when SI was valuable to read and sportscenter was appointment viewing. Back when I'd eagerly wait through the commercials for whatever I wanted to see on the other side
Sure, SI took some strange turns and ESPN has been all over the place but ultimately neither would've changed had tech development not made the old way of doing things obsolete

Google maps and google earth are about the only piece of technology I would truly miss if we warped back 20-25 years (other than all things medical).
