That's A&M's game, they are one of the best in the country at that, which is why we beat them by 15 there, we matched them on the boards.
Still we were right there at the end and played straight hero ball the last 4-5 minutes. Terrible offensive possessions.

The key to this game was when taylor went out early with the fouls. That was an opportunity to pull away. But to their credit, a&m’s other guys hit some 3s to keep it close until taylor could get back in the 2nd half. I knew we lost at halftime. I credit a&m though. I think lsu played with effort, thats just an elite rebounding team that will be in the tourney. We played about as expected. We didnt sneakup on them this time

I was disappointed in the loss because we could have won. A few plays here and there. A few rebounds here and there would have been the difference in the game. They shot above their paygrade from 3. That was a huge difference in the game. And because they shot a lot of 3's there were a lot of long rebounds that they ended up getting. Especially disappointed in Cook's play. He needs to cut the hero ball and the stupid turnovers or he will be just another Torris Bright. But we are competitive and anyone who says we can't win any other games is not paying attention or is just another Mcmahon hater. IF we would have lost at TAM and won here all would be good. Plenty of ball left to play. Let's see where it goes. Extremely tough schedule coming up.
