That is a lot for a team that needs everything. But if it looks like JD5 is falling to the Falcons, we MUST trade up to get him. He is the best player in the draft.

It’s really not that much considering you get to save 30 mil a year at the a position in salary with a rookie qb.

Look, I love JD5…..I wasn’t sold on him last year (or after the FSU game for that matter). BUT the strides he made (especially IN THIS SEASON) are the most impressive I have ever seen. I would love to have JD5

But it would cost a shite TON of draft capital to trade up to get him, and this team needs a huge infusion of youth. To do that we need our picks, it’s the only way to start getting this roster younger.

We need help at LB, DE, DT, OL, TE, & possibly CB (depending on what happens with Latt and Issac). Can’t keep sacrificing picks to move up (which leads to spending more in FA) when you have an aging roster and cap issues!

Not drafting a TE last year (in a very deep TE class) was incredibly fricking stupid
