I’m just being obtuse, like most others. No offense to you. Not directed at you specifically even. I don’t know what to think about that item to be honest. Personally, I never believed it and always thought it was simply an opportunistic “extortion” scheme, and most reasonable people acknowledge that rich people are indeed targets of those type things and it’s an easy call to just make it go away. Call it “costs of doing business.” Or perhaps “costs of being rich.”
Additionally and of particular interest is that this allegation/situation was born and raised “side by side” with disgraced former attorney Michael Avenatti who was proven beyond any and all doubt to be a full fledged con-man, and he and Daniels ultimately had a nasty falling out…..if I remember correctly she very actively accused him of defrauding her out of money as well.
So in my mind is there a pretty decent chance that what we saw was a hustle that was the brainchild of Avenatti, mostly to give him a boon of publicity, I very much think so. Hence the equally possible effort on Daniel’s part to “correct the record”.
