No, Dyson got drafted in a unique position of being drafted to a team that wasn't in a rebuild. He doesn't have the luxury of being able to play through his growing pains like someone like Josh Giddy was able to do with the thunder.

Thats not a fair comparison. Giddey knew who he was right away regardless of the team he was drafted to, Giddey averaged 12 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Dyson by now should know who he is offensively and its a concern he doesn’t.
