I bought a 2010 Altima for my daughter and after a few months, it sounded super loud when driving. Kind of like it was stuck in 1st gear. I took it to Giles Nissan (Lafayette) and they said I needed to replace the transmission. I declined and started searching online.
Decided to post a question on JustAnswer and a mechanic asked for me to make a video of the noise. I did and he said it sounded like a bad wheel hub.
Sure enough,it was a bad hub. Bought two on Amazon for $80 and had a co-worker change them out for a case of beer.
