Maybe in your area, but Deer in some areas would have already bred if you postpone it 30 days
And for ducks that would be bad. Pair bonds would be broken up
There are wood ducks starting to nest right now in some places

With deer tags, one could still take does early season, and validate one's buck only tags later days.
I just know something needs to be done.
