My wife got "laid off" recently (really what happened is the guy who took over the dept felt threatened by her and another woman). The guy was a dick who didn't really do as much as my wife and this other woman)

Anyway, my wife goes out and finds a Marketing Director role at one of their competitors and wins the job.

She's making 35% more than she was at the previous company and is much happier. My wife kicks arse!

Don't be a punching bag at your current employer. If you know you got it, go out and get it!
