I have finally caught Covid after avoiding for the last 5 years. I have had symptoms for about a day and so far it is just about like a bad-assed cold. There’s one exception…night sweats. I woke up a couple of times last night sweating to the point that the sheets were wet enough to where I had to change sides of the bed.

Is this common?

The range of reactions to COVID has been bizarre. I ran a fever of up to 101 and had severe chills (this was in the middle of the summer 2022 while at the beach). The only way I finally got warm was sitting in the bathtub filled with hot water (and refilling it when it cooled) for about an hour. It also sapped my appetite to the point where I ate the equivalent of one meal over the course of an entire week.
