Going to be too late after the freeze. We just stripped 4 Navel Orange trees, 3 Pink Grapefruit and 6 Satsuma trees.
The crop wasn’t as robust as usual. I think due to the drought. Still gave away a half of pickup truck full of fruit. The neighbors are happy. I’m happy.
Might go pick some more tomorrow if I have time.

My lemon and grapefruit didn't produce at all due to the late freeze, but my satsuma did. With that said, the flavor was different this year. More... intense? Likewise, I think it was because of the drought. In the same way that grape vines make for better wine if they struggle a bit, I think my tree had to work harder than usual to develop the fruit it produced. It wasn't unpleasant or anything. Just different.
