The people that look at a car he got and thinks, "YEP. Money", are completely missing the actual reasoning. Sure money is a reason, but here is the breakdown on the business decision.
1. Saban isn't at Bama anymore.
2. Jalen Milroe is still the QB and will be learning a new pass happy offense
3. Who's to say Milroe will be the starting QB? Should he play with a brand new QB?
4. Texas is losing their TOP 4 pass catchers to the draft. Every starting WR and the starting TE is gone.
5. Ewers is a 3rd year starter, in the same system, without a star WR to throw to.
This is a "business decision", because it makes perfect sense all around for his future. Another guy who was getting almost nothing playing for UGA but a few playoff TDs, went to Texas for one season and is already considered a first round lock. Adonai Mitchell went from 560 yards and 7 TDs in 20 games at UGA, to 845 yards and 11 TDs in 14 games at Texas.
