There were 67 nuclear bombs tested in the Marshall Islands. Lots of radiation around.

All those bombs really took atoll on that place.

Took an elective in college, Oceanography, with a now deceased professor who worked as a diver in those areas. Water, sand/soil, flora/fauna sampling. He was really a geologist. Evacuation of the area has left it pretty much pristine…except for the radiation.
