Believe it or not but there is a large contingency of hunters that place their deer meat in ice water for many days

It looks pretty nasty once it goes from red to brown if you ask me. Air cooled is best if you can get it then best to let it lose its heat and put in a big garbage bag in ice chest so meat doesn’t touch water.
