I had the privilege of being born and raised in Fairhope. I live not far from there now and it's a fantastic place and holds a special place in my heart.

Hampton Inn downtown is also a good hotel option where you can walk everywhere and not spend as much as the Grand. Rooms are fine but location is everything especially if you plan on eating and shopping downtown
