If 20 guys want to hang out in the woods, shoot guns and go through quasi-military exercises, they aren't abusing anything. Nothing about that is remotely illegal in any way. And the state laws these Democrats are citing as justification for regulating militias were the exact same laws used by Southerners to justify the arrests of SNCC operatives and Freedom Riders in the 1960's.

I think that's the point of this thread, some states want to restrict that kind of behavior.
If fascist white supremacists want to train in the woods on how to overthrow the government, you better believe the government is going to try to stop it. Does that even need to be said?

Don't forget Ronald Reagan's gun restrictions in California in response to the Black Panthers open carrying in the 60s.
There have always been restrictions on the 2nd Amendment, if gun owners aren't responsible with the right, it can be further restricted.
