Really like Mayo but this is risky as hell

We’re 4-13 with not a whole lot of young talent on the books, what’s the risk? And is hiring a retread really mitigating that risk?

Vrabel wouldn't have been a retread in a traditional sense, and there's a difference between hiring a guy who's been a true coordinator for a couple of years and Mayo who shared that duty with Steve. We shall see, but I have a nasty feeling we are just going to internally promote a GM and continue down Bills path without Bill.

he may turn out to be a great coach who really knows? But I would think Kraft would want an offensive guy for obvious reasons and a clean break from the Belichick era.
