re: Share some good Saban (or Saban family) in Baton Rouge stories

He was friends with my step dad who was a legendary football coach in Louisiana. He talked to him often about the NFL gig. He was really indecisive on it but also liked the challenge of building something up more than maintaining it at the time.

They stayed in touch over the years, even after my stepdad retired. I think he called him on his birthday or something a bunch.

When he died a few years ago, he has a big wreath from LSU and Bebe but also a red white one from Nick and Terry. Probably, one of few people to have huge burial flower arrangements from both LSU and Bama.
