Work schedule and intensity combined with being tied to a desk and computer most of the day.

A healthy breakfast and lunch takes time to prepare and consume. I have very little time with work and being a parent and spouse. So I drink coffee and get whatever is convenient and move on. My diet consists of more pre-made smoothies and fast food than it should - both of which are a shite load of calories. I also drink way more caffeinated beverages than I should.

Switching to black coffee has helped. Trying to switch to tea but coffee is what’s around here and it’s easy to just pour a cup.

Don’t have the will power to fast? If your time is so limited, just skip breakfast and lunch?

I have a very demanding job and don’t work from home. I have a 3 year old with another on the way. I have very little in the way of free time to work out absent waking up at 5 in the morning. However, I haven’t gained any weight, am actually about 15-20 pounds lighter than I was in college.

I eat a good breakfast, a light snack around lunchtime, and cook healthy for dinner at least 5x a week. I have maybe 1-2 alcoholic drinks 1 night a week and don’t consume any other liquid calories. My vice is I do eat Chikfila for breakfast a couple times a week because I pass right by it on the way to work. But I don’t just casually snack on junk food really ever and rarely eat sweets.

Diet is the most important thing IMO.
