That's not true. I meal prep every Sunday. Can usually do 4 breakfasts and 8 lunches for around $40. Even cheaper when I'm using deer meat or fish I got. My proteins are chicken, fish, eggs, and beef/deermeat/wild pork. If you're smart about shopping sales you plan your meals around what protein is on sale.
