Perez certainly has not earned a two-year contract. His up-and-down performance screams one-year contract at most. Obviously. This would explain why nothing is happening at the moment.
I wonder what the issue is with Sainz. Do they think he'd be too disruptive to the harmony of the team? Is he also asking for a longer contract than what Red Bull wants to offer?
Edit: Yuki would gladly take a one-year contract!
