I bought one in 2022 because Chicago Music Exchange had a special run in purple.
It's very difficult for me to get used to, due to the string spacing and the distance between the bridge and the tailpiece.
Still cool as hell though...

Ha I almost waited to get mine in anticipation of their shell pink version...purple one is cool as hell too.
And yea I can def see that. I'm already a pretty "light touch" bassist and routinely switch between thumb picking and index/middle finger so while it's been a bit of an adjustment, it still feels fairly natural.
I have pushed the low E off the neck on occasion tho, still getting used to the lower tension
