I mean...both are awful...but dance is more awful. Baseball at least your outside and they just play. I went to one of my sisters things and it was hours inside an auditorium...the actual dancing is secondary to the constant parade of girls up and down the aisle screaming about not having the right bow or gloves

I crochet at baseball games bc they’re so damned boring

I mean it's not REALLY for the audience. My daughter's dance team or group or whatever does these too. Yeah, they're dreadfully boring, but it's not for me. It's for my daughter to get up there and do something she likes and conquer her stage fright and get dressed up and have me make a big deal out of it and bring her flowers and take her to dinner and make her feel special. I don't have boys, but I'm sure there's a masculine version of that watching a nine year old son get decked out like his favorite MLB player and go out and compete or play or whatever. It's boring as hell to watch, but who cares.

I mean did you really think it's supposed to be super entertaining?
