* How did I trigger anyone into DV my post? I wasn't calling into question the validity of the pics, but commenting on how he looks in real life. Away from Hollywood , retired and out of makeup, he looks a good bit different than what most would imagine. (Which holds true for most actors, especially those advanced in age)

Hackman is retired.
Those pics are nearly a year old, taken when he ventured into Santa Fe to eat at a Wendy's and then refuel his truck at a nearby gas station.
Terrific actor - really enjoyed his work/movies.
