You can buy green (raw) beans in roast them. Highly recommend doing it outdoors due to the smell, especially when going dark roast.

Whose got good ones locally?

If you’re in the Nola metro area, I think Alinea has some good stuff right now. I got an Americano at Bearcat Baked that was amazing. Want to grab some beans from them as well. Also, Congregation Coffee just opened back up and does a subscription. Hey Cafe is popular too.

For my morning drip I use Ethiopian Sidamo Guji from Fresh Roasted Coffee. It’s like $27 for 2lbs shipped and they roast to order.

I get my beans from a dude who roasts in a converted garage in Crowley. He sells at the Lafayette Farmer's Market on Saturdays, but mostly I just drive out and buy them out of the garage. Father's Coffee. His beans are top quality.
