Late '80's to early '90's when the Lakers, Celtics, Pistons, and Bulls were duking it out was incredible. You young bucks will never understand.

That espn pistons documentary didn’t get the love tLast Dance did obviously but it was really good

those were great series. but the league was not great, those teams were great.
there is way more talent in the league rn than at any other point.
the real issue is the ticky tack fouls eliminating defense.
its the same as the nfl/college football rules on pass interference/defensive holding/rough the passer.
once the players realized how easy it is to get free pts/yards by creating contact, the game lost a lot of its viewer appeal.
i wish i could make $10 million a year to flop and go shoot free throws.
