This is a branding issue. Bud Light got branded as Tranny Piss. Surprisingly, Tranny Piss is not a consumption friendly moniker.

Boycott:
You and the wife get in a spat and she cuts you off for a couple of days.
Lifestyle change:
You and the wife get in a spat and for the past four weeks she has been getting up at 5am putting on makeup and her new lululemon thong spandex outfit and going to the gym. She aint coming back and neither are the former bud drinkers.
