Which gameplay did you watch? SQE did a hands on event demo sometime around Septemberish I think for some of the biggest FF YouTubers and media types. It went through the whole first part of the game which will be the flashback and had random cuts of the open world. I imagine we will get the demo of the flashback ourselves close to 2 weeks before release given their recent track record.

My point is you can watch certain cuts of these builds they got to play and it’s full of new music so if you saw some other gameplay showcase somewhere it’s likely it was simply cut with the character themes from remake or something which will all likely be carried over here for returning characters but altered and changed slightly as SQE is know to do with these series games like how lightings theme stayed the same through each part but changed slightly throughout
