Whats funny? This game is going to insanely massive and ambitious if nothing else. Its almost certainly going to win GOTY if nothing else due to lack of other contenders.

All the trailers, all the hands one events, all the dev interviews is 100% on point for what youd want in the middle psrt of this series. It all screams they absolutely get what made OG so special to so many which fills me with confidence.

My only remaining minor worry is squares next forray into an open world but I doubt itll be an issue like it was for 15 since they arent creating every single thing down to the smallest of details out of whole cloth

I am adding new screen shots to my post above as I come across good ones but its slow atm due to work. There will be a bunch more periodically added

This one is interesting it shows Kujata doing what I assume is its super. To my knowledge Kujata was first in ff7 og and never used again so its neat they got him for the remake.

This one massively caught my eye because it appears to be literally the date scene from gold sauce of with yuffie as the other party. Is she scripted into this or can it be changed?

First look at the boat from Junon to Costa del sol. It appears they went for a more luxury cruise liner than a military transport and hence dispensed with our parties need to disguise
