Les certainly had the brains and the balls, but there WAS something keeping him from replacing a weak offensive coordinator whom the game had passed up. My guess is that his personal loyalty to his good friend was greater than his desire to win big, but who knows.

The guy who was the subject of multiple investigations into improper contact with and use of female students? Hmm, seems the possibilities could be endless in the blackmail material department.

Less was the offensive coordinator.

Miles is horrible as an offensive mind. But he won because he had NFL talent all over the field and someone else always ran the defense.

BK once fired a guy who was in his wedding. That’s how committed he is to winning

The whole offensive coordinator thing still boggles my mind. Les went out and grabbed Gary Crowton and Cam Cameron. Both of whom LSU fans were excited about considering their backgrounds.
Maybe it was Les's fault after initial success of both they faded, maybe it was their failure to adapt. However this idea that Les was scared to fire people is comical as he got rid of people all the time. Like it's revisionist history based on how it played out, plus a bit spoiled based on the 2019 offense and the past two seasons offense.

The administration wouldn't let him fire the wizard since he had a buyout and they were firing teachers

Cam Cameron knew where the on campus apartment was
