Average price of new vehicles is double what it was 10 years ago, and used cars are like 4x what they were. Average rent is double. Food is triple what it was 3 years ago, and often 5 times more than 10 years ago. Taxes, insurance, and electricity bills are more than double.

Wages are NOT double.
