Self-governance is almost the entirety of his platform. Where do you get your (incorrect) information? Obviously not from his mouth.

Vivek looks down on you. Want to know why? Because he says things right out in the open and you refuse to take note of the message.

Here is a part of the notes I took and published here when he appeared on the SRS. Someone comes from the Ivy League and they sound so great and you decide to not pay attention to what that person actually says. It's like Obama all over again.

AMENDING THE CONSTITUTION

Vivek prefers the method of constitutional amendment that originates with Congress then goes to the States. (my note: I am 100% against this. I don't trust Congress for anything, any longer. Congress has single digit approval ratings. To let them write up new amendments and use their influence and control over Big Tech, Big Media etc, to ram that through states, especially considering we don't have confidence in our elections processes - hell no. Huge hell no from me.) Vivek goes on to be what he chastised at the beginning of the show - a back room, condescending jackass, questioning the wisdom of the People to undertake the amendment process themselves in a bottom up process. He says, "the other method is constitutional, and I celebrate the spirit of people to take this on...be prepared for what comes out." (my note: you will never get the elitist mindset out of rich, privileged, Ivy educated people.)

And you think his message is about self-governance? Think again. He looks at himself and others like him as your superior in every way.

His plan for the border is a disaster. He doesn't understand the border or the military. His plan to randomly eliminate 50% of the federal workforce would produce chaos and it's objectively cruel.

The guy is a meme. It's like he text mines all the most extreme takes from the right and that becomes his messaging, then he sprinkles a little lawyerin' language he got from Harvard on there. And people eat it up.

Behind every failure in this nation since WWII is a group of people that came from the Ivy League (and similar places like Stanford, MIT, Georgetown etc) and we can't seem to learn our lesson about this group of people. There's about a dozen schools that have engineered the worst possible outcomes for our nation and they show up, over and over and over again.
FDR - socialist crap, set us up for Pearl Harbor. Columbia and Harvard.
LBJ - signed the 1965 Medicare Act that set in motion the spiraling disaster that has wrecked our healthcare system, also a racist and brought us things like the Great Society which has helped destroy families. Georgetown.
Obama - Harvard
Al Gore - Harvard
Wild Bill Donovan - gave us the CIA, Columbia
The disasters go back before WWII but the lineage is easy to trace starting with WWII.
Woodrow Wilson - prior to WWII, one of the worst presidents we've had, was all about Big Gov. Princeton, Johns Hopkins
The list goes on and on.
Oh and guess which school is the worst in the nation for free speech: Harvard. The second worst is also from the Ivy League. 7 of the 8 ivies are in the bottom 25% for free speech. The numbers are also awful when you add a few more schools to make up the "elites".

At what point do you start to notice trends about what comes from these schools?

It's a pathological group. If they aren't lying to you they are conspiring against you.

Have you not noticed that up until he published his woke book that he was squarely on the left? This is all a grift. This is a niche that he's exploiting. Did you not pay attention to the part of the show where he talks about the company he started to go after BlackRock? He's just using this anti-woke sentiment to grift, to make money, to stir up anger among people and get free advertising and push the sentiment that will lead people to his business ventures.
