I fairly certain no recruits at lutcher or ND, but possibly some from JC vs. Evangel...Either way, JC vs. evangel should be a great game

I'll say. The 2 best programs in the state that money can buy.

Yes watch the QB from Lutcher. He's young, soph. I think, but he'll get a good look from LSU in the next couple of years. Dude is really good.

Notre Dame's DJ Welter is pretty good. Linebacker. Made the game winning tackle last week.

If you come back on Saturday, Shane Andrus (not sure about spelling) for CLA has rushed for like 2,700 yards this year.
Watched him against OCS. OCS was much bigger and dressed about 70 players. CLA only has 35 on the roster. CLA dominated. OCS a traditional powerhouse could not stop Andrus.

South Plaq beats CLA by 5 touchdowns MINIMUM.
As far as who to watch Friday, Cerderrick Tyson from Evangel is good. Dez Duron, Evangel's QB, won the Gatorade Player of the Year for Louisiana.

Not being recruited, but keep an eye on Chance Oustalet. Def Safety for ND. Calls the defense. Small 6-0 195. WIll hit you in a heartbeat. A headhunter.

Keep an eye on Evangel DE Jamauria Rasco. Just a sophomore, but he will be on LSU's radar in 2011.

Notre Dame has 3 very good linebackers. One has already been offered a preferred walk on and his name is Seth Fruge. He ran a 4.3 40 at LSU's camp this summer.
The other 2 are DJ Welter and Hunter Stover. Hunter Stover is also a great Kicker. He kicked a 58 yard field goal a couple weeks ago and he'll put most of his kick offs in the endzone.
Just keep an eye on Notre Dame's Linebackers.

Not being a horse's rear or anything, but Trindon Holliday barely runs a 4.3 40. A high school linebacker does NOT run a 4.3 40.

Well, would you like to put money on it?
I'll try and find it on tigerbait.

I can't find where they say he ran a 4.3 at the camp but I found this on TigerBait.
quote:
The defense is led by the play of linebackers Seth Fruge (6-foot, 205 pounds), DJ Welter (6-2, 220) and Hunter Stover (6-1, 200). Fruge, a senior, was offered scholarship by McNeese State, but he is going to accept a preferred walk-on at LSU. Welter, a junior, is already receiving a lot of college interest.

If you are saying there is a guy looking to walk-on at lsu as a linebacker and he ran a 4.3 40 I'll definitely bet againt that being true.

Again, nothing against Fruge. But when someone posts that a high school LB runs a 4.3 40 there is no way. The fastest track stars in high school (i.e. Lache Seastrunk for example) run 4.4 40s. I'm not knocking your player, just stating facts.
There are only a handful of college players who run 4.3 40s at the NFL combine. That is a fact.

I spoke to him the night he got back from the camp, he said he had a good day and ran a 4.3 and Miles offered him. I'm just telling you what he said. I'm sure he doesn't run it consistently.
I doubt he lied but he might have exaggerated.

If Ford runs a 4.4...Tyler Glynn runs a 4.1...
