I get it and I used to do that. However it's been proven that people spend more money when using a credit card vs debit card. It's also the concept of always having "a bill" or "a statement" rather than it coming directly from your account. I'd rather not be a slave to the lender and always have a credit card bill to worry about. Dont care if I leave my points on the table.
