I noticed on one pass play he was involved with, he occupied the same area as the WR who was going to get the ball and it blew the play up. He’ll learn. Modern offenses aren't young running back-friendly.
It also being Nuss’ first start, I think they wanted to ensure the pass pro was clean. 45 dropbacks zero sacks.
