re: Rut beginning in Central Mississippi

My family place is in Summerland, last weekend there were scrapes and rubs everywhere and I was seeing younger bucks cruising. I want to say they’ll be full on chasing this/next week but I have noticed a very watered down lingering rut that peaks about the third week of January. There are a ton of does in this general area.
