If they had Security detail on site and they noticed the crowd was much bigger than that small room could handle I’d imagine it’s their duty to report such issues.
So that probably helped get the response that was recorded.

Just as an fyi, cops have no legal duty to do anything.
Desertion, cowardice, and dereliction of duty are not a part of the legal vocabulary when talking about LEO.
