I got one for Xmas, but I think I am returning it.
It's cute and all, but having to rack my M&P 9mm every shot is a pain in the arse, and without recoil, I am not sure how much "training" this system gives you.

Curious to hear about others experiences.

I don't have that, but I got a MantisX for xmas last year and I am sure that it improved my shooting. No, it's not live fire (unless you bring it to the range), but I've done over 3000 dry fire shots with it, and at minimum it has me a helluva lot better at handling my gun, and based on the last range visits it also helped a ton with tight shooting. Reps are reps, and being comfortable with the weapon is really important. You still need live-fire practice too. Not saying strikeman is worth it, I don't have one and I don't know how much it costs.

It is perfect for the "first shot" training. Practice how you carry, concealed or open. Make the draw, obtain the site picture, squeeze the trigger, and instant feedback with shot placement and time. Wash, rinse, and repeat.
