LSU Ag Soil Sample Test Question

I’m about to send a sample off to LSU. Can someone please advise if any of these optional tests are needed?
A little background.
Spring: In two of my beds I had trouble growing squash, zucchini, eggplant and peppers. They never took off. In another bed, tomatoes and beans did well. Cucumbers also did well in this bed, but they were very sour.
Fall: Broccoli and cauliflower are doing well in the same bed that the tomatoes and beans did well in the spring. In the other two, carrots and beets are doing close to nothing. Onions are doing seemingly ok.

I would say they are only needed if you have use for the information. For example, maybe you’re having stunted growth even with heavy fertilization of macro and micro nutrients. Then you may want to test the salt level cause it can it can interfere with nutrient uptake and water retention.
Otherwise I’d say they aren’t needed. Completely up to you if you think the information is valuable.

I always get them all ran with the first samples I send in. That way I have a good idea of where I'm starting. It may not be "needed" right now, but helps with comparisons if issues arise down the road.
