Sure you can. A contractual agreement between the school and the athlete doesn’t have to be tied to his NIL. A pro athlete can have deals with shoe companies that have no bearing on their player contracts.
And there’s nothing stopping the NCAA from stepping in and regulating NIL in the future. Eventually something like this will have to happen.
