This statement probably deserves its own thread. I like Coop, but he inherited a good bit of talent as well (PP, Ron Brooks, Brandon Taylor as well as guys we’d pretty much had in the bag as recruits like Loston and Mo).

It’s Busch. And he was still here in 2020 when the DB play sucked. It’s weird how how never catches any flack for either his coaching or recruiting (see Toles and Derrick Davis). People say Raymond got demoted, but never critique the Safeties coaches.

All that said, I’d be cool to have the Raymond/ Busch combo again. Busch got fired at Nebraska and is not coaching at last check.
