That’s a bit different IMO. I don’t know of many situations where an entire family supports statutory rape and a doctor agrees it’s ok.

Doesn't matter. The law does not allow for parental exceptions becuase if a nutjob set of parents exist (and believe me there are a few of them out there) no justification they can come up with is good enough to allow their child to engage in sexual congress with an adult. It causes irreperable harm to the child.

The same holds true with the vast majority* of these modern sex change and puberty blocking cases for the exact same reasons. Messing with a child's reproductive organs and the hormones and emotions related to those organs causes irreperable harm that is just not justifiable.

*The vast majority being the cases where a child's gender or sex is voluntarily changed due to social or political pressures, not sitautions where a child might be born deformed.
