I would skip 308 for out west and go straight to 7prc. It’s my build in the queue, only thing it gives up to 300 prc is energy. Much flatter than 308. Personally I wouldn’t swap from 6.5 to 308, check out offerings in the 147-156 grain variety depending on your twist rate.
