re: Over 25% of Methodist churches abandon denomination as schism grows over LGBTQ+ issues

If the more liberal UMC churches that see their attendance and donations crash, begin to see that they can’t afford to keep he lights on, I’d be willing to bet that one enormous organization will, in exchange for housing and feeding a flood of migrants, print money, and through the NGOs that helped the migrants here to begin with, fill the church with the cash needed to keep the lights on.
