The thing I’m worried about is that 3-5 years is a long time. Coaches don’t last that long in the NFL. How do you sell that to a coach when you’re tying his hand behind his back. I know there’s only 32 jobs but you still want to be able to convince the guy you want to hire. If your number one chooses someone else because of this it’s tough.
