Nobody is celebrating Sol Invictus, Saturnalia, or Mithra’s birthday. People don’t even know who they are.

This is a day we celebrate Christ’s Birth into the world. Truth be known, Jesus IS God, and He has no birthday as He has always been, but it’s a time we designated on the calendar to celebrate the day our Savior came into the world. The day is of little significance as is the hope for mankind that came into the world. Many have speculated it being 9 months from His death, burial, and resurrection, but even that is speculation.

I care absolute ZERO what actual day it is celebrated. What should be much more on your radar is that Christ is the one we fixate on more so that Santa or some Hallmark silliness. When that takes the center stage rather than Jesus Christ on CHRISTmas, it’s an issue for me, and should be for all of those focused on some trivial nonsense intended to elevate themselves and their intellectual or religious ego over what we should all be fixated on right now, and that’s Jesus Christ.

There’s these two different contradictory accounts of the Gospel - one called “Matthew” and the other “Luke” - that certainly state that Jesus had a birthday.

In the subject of Jesus having “always been”, have you read the Bible? It states over and over that Jesus is the firstborn of Creation. Side note: Proverbs states the Holy Spirit is the firstborn of creation. I can’t find anywhere in the Bible about Jesus having always existed and being eternally begotten from the father, begotten not made, and all that jazz. Seems made up. I guess you might come to that conclusion if you ignore the entire Bible except the first chapter of John.
