I don't have a problem admitting there is a ton of abuse in the system. I've seen plenty myself. My only responses to him were regarding his suggestion that "honorable" vets are obligated to call out abuse when we suspect it.

Which, one: could have damaging effects, both socially and professionally, if we're wrong. This is the age of viral videos, and most of us aren't qualified to give an on-the-spot medical diagnoses in the first place.

And, two: suggests I owe my time to whatever bullshite cause he finds important and has some sort of bearing on my "honor" if I choose not to play along. His opinion of my honor, or lack thereof, means as much to me as yours. As in, frick all.

If that makes me a sorry POS I guess that's my cross to bear.
